Travelling to BricksWest 2002
Many fans of LEGO will be travelling to join the fun at BricksWest 2002. While locals shouldn't have too much trouble driving to BricksWest, some attendees will be in need of additional travel arrangements. If you are local, and are planning to drive to BricksWest, please consider arranging carpools to/from the event if at all possible. Ride shares can be arranged within your local LUG, or privately. If you find yourself in need of a ride, or willing to offer one, please make yourself heard in the BricksWest group at LUGNET.

Flying To BricksWest
So far, attendees planning to fly to BricksWest are finding spectacular fares available. Check with your travel agent, or web sites like Expedia or Cheap Tickets, to secure these great prices; one attendee has booked round-trip airfare from Chicago for only $200.00! Keep in mind that it will be optimal to fly directly into Palomar Airport, where a shuttle can deliver you to the hotel venue, otherwise you'll need to arrange car rental or taxi service if flying into Los Angeles (1 hour away) or San Diego (25 minutes away).

Other Travel
For those looking to travel via bus or train, there are several options available...and quite reasonable, especially if booked in advance. Check with Amtrak or Greyhound for pricing on overland travel to BricksWest.
